Leather Pants and Blue Heels, Fierce in the Summer

Hello lovely people! Yes I know leather pants are nutty for the summer, but these ones are so comfy and I believe fashion is for self expression. So today I felt like wearing some black leather pants and a deep red lip. Black and white with red lips is classic to me, but for the summer a pop of color is always nice so I went with my favorite heels. This look was perfect for the shopping day out with one of my girlfriends, we tried out new makeup and just had a great time catching up at the mall. The photos were taken at the club house near my friends house, where my fiance and I are considering holding our wedding reception at. The club house is so beautiful overlooking this luscious green golf course with big white pillars and palm trees for miles. I hope you enjoy today`s look and please subscribe I post Tuesdays and Thursdays. Love ya!

Mermaid Hair and outfit!

Wanna know the secret to mermaid hair?

A NuMe curling wand! You do not have to spent a lifetime in that glorious salty water to get waves like these ;)

Now make the messiest and fullest side braid you have ever seen

Finally add a seashell hair tie! which I made from a small clear elastic looped through a seashell

Boom! Mermaid hair! <3

My favorite outfit to visit the beach is this swimsuit by Body Glove, which is so comfortable and durable from any sun damage, paired with my blue sun printed wrap skirt that I found at a thrift shop. The bag is from Indigo and its the perfect seashell bag because of its eyelet cutouts, which allows for sand and water to seep out. I love wraps for the beach because of how versatile they are. Wear it as a swim cover up, a dress, or use it as a blanket to lay in the sand with it.

The sandals are from Marc Fisher

Mermaid Makeup

Ready to become the gorgeous mermaid you are? Well since I was very little I was obsessed with mermaids. I would always read books and truly believed that when I turned thirteen I would become a mermaid. Growing up by the ocean I really felt that of all the Disney princesses I identified the most with Ariel. She loved to explore, she was bold, but kind and most of all she grew up in the ocean. Well I may not grow up under the sea, but this look will show you how to get those ocean blue eyes and sun-kissed glow, like you really did come from the sea.

Step 1: When applying makeup outside it is important you sanitize your hands in advance. This little octopus is from bath and body works and holds my favorite hand sanitizer.

Cute story, the little octopus lights up and once in line for a ride at Animal Kingdom a little girl become very nervous to ride the somewhat scary Dinosaur ride. So to keep her calm she played with the light up octopus of mine for the duration of the line up and by the time we got on the ride she was calm and ready to see some dinosaurs.

Step 2: Concealer and Powder, my favorites are Stila concealer and cover girl powder foundation. To keep that glowy mermaid look only powder your T-zone and wherever you applied concealer.

Step 3: Eyebrows and Lips, Benefit Gimme Brow wax pencil is my favorite, I've almost used it up in only two months, and Benefit lip gloss in "Poutrageous!" paired with Elizabeth Arden lip liner in "Sugared Kissed"

Step 4: Eye Shadow! This cream eye shadow by Benefit is called "Always a Bridesmaid" which was given to me by my dear sister <3. I applied it all over my lid into the crease and the powder eye shadow is by Kiko Milano, a European brand, which I only applied on my lid to let the purple peek out.

Step 5: Eyeliners :D The liquid liner is by Lush called "Calm", which I winged on my top lash line and the pencil liner is a by Elizabeth Arden called "Midnight", which I smudged on by bottom lash line.

Step 6: Mascara! If you want some truly long lashes try Smashbox`s Photo Op Eye Brightening

Step 7: Contour and Blush, this limited edition compact by Benefit is called "Cheekathon" and includes Benefits top blushes and the all famous Hoola Bronzer in one product! The blush I used is Coralista( the best blush ever!)

Step 8: Highlighter, this "Champagne" eye shadow by cover girl is the perfect dupe for Stila "Kitten" eye shadow.

Tea Time! Cafe and Boutique Review!

Hello lovely people! This past weekend I spent some time in Tampa, Florida`s beautiful city of Davis Island visiting my best friends who I have not seen in so long. On Friday we decided to walk around the island and look at the local restaurants and boutiques when we came across the cafe Te Bella Tea Company. This cafe provides you with some of the most exotic tea flavors, as well as locally made honey, gourmet deserts, and tons of beautiful little trinkets to choose from! Such as beauty products, books, tea towels, tea pots, jewelry and so much more. Join us on our day out to Te Bella Tea Company.

The most requested flavor is Palm Honey, which is a very strong and deliciously sweet honey to take your tea experience to the next level. You can even try each honey before deciding on your favorite.

These little sweet treats takes tea time to a glamorous level, with each one hand crafted to look as gorgeous and luxurious as possible.

Tea parties as a young girl was one of my favorite pass times and this book will show you step by step how to throw the most lovely themed tea parties for the little girls in your life. Gift it to a friend or simply use it to bring back that magical nostalgic time in your life.

With so many choices its almost overwhelming, but do not worry, you are encouraged to ask to smell each tea before deciding on your tea time journey. Whether that be a trip through the tropical coastal breezes of Florida or to the Moonlight Magic healing properties of their sleepy time tea.

You may also try their sample trays of teas!

The only person who I think enjoys tea more than I do :)

In the end I finally decided on a Kiwi, Cherry, Coconut tea, which is exactly the fruity dream you would imagine it to be, we even went back the next day to enjoy some more flavors and take home some of that delicious honey.

Back in Black

Top: Express // Pants: Zara // Wallet: Micheal Kors // Shoes: Payless

Hello lovely people! I`m back and goodness does it feel good to be blogging again. I have been traveling to Florida and I`m going to be here for a little while, so stay tuned for some tropical fashion posts. I am ready to take this blog to the next level, get excited to see some crazy delicious and simple recipes, plus lots of DIY decorating. Do you like colorful fashion, nautical decor, and some really authentic and healthy exotic recipes! yes? Me too! Keeping reading and subscribe to be apart of my world of Captivation :D

Side note: I cant post without addressing the tragedy that has happened in my hometown. I was introduced to the Orlando Pulse Club last year and may I say to you I have never experienced such a warm and welcoming community as the LGBTQ community. My best friends are apart of this community and I am just heart broken by this event. To attack something as beautiful and pure as love makes me worry for this world. Today all over the world we stand with Orlando, my home, a place I identified as a land of sunshine, coastal breezes, and magical Disney love. Together we must change this country, actions must be taken to make the United States safer for everyone. Especially the innocent lives that were lost Saturday evening. My love and prays go to the friends and family of those lost.
